Systemic Enzymes should never be confused with digestive enzymes. The body contains what is known as Systemic Enzymes, and there are about 3000 different enzymes, which cause over 7000 enzyme reactions. Enzymes are biocatalysts; which means that they either begin a reaction or cause a reaction to speed up. Without enzymes life would not exist.
MASKING SYMPTOMS ARE AT BEST A QUICK PATCH JOB, BUT NEVER A LASTING ANSWER TO A HEALTH PROBLEM.

there are a few KEY points that I need you to understand about WHY I BELIEVE these SPECIFIC Systemic Enzymes WILL HELP MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF HEALTH PROBLEMS THAT PATIENTS HAVE .
Certain enzymes are the first line of defense against inflammation. Inflammation is a reaction by the immune system to an irritation. Where ever in your body; be it a joint, muscle, gland or organ, if there is a problem the first thing that happens is inflammation. After inflammation comes the fibrotic tissue which is laid down on the injured tissue or part of the body.
Other specific enzymes eat excessive fibrotic tissue, which is also called scar tissue. Most doctors learn in anatomy that it is fibrosis that eventually kills us. As we age, which starts at around 27, your body's enzyme output starts to diminish. This is because we make a finite amount of enzymes in a lifetime and we use up a good deal of them by the time we reach our 40's. Children have a lot of enzymes working for them, unlike adults and that's why they seem to do so well.
Around twenty-seven our bodies begin to dole out our enzymes with an eyedropper instead of with a tablespoon. Results: the repair mechanism of the body goes off balance and has nothing to reduce the over abundance of fibrin that is deposited in nearly everything from simple cuts, to the inside or outside of our internal organs and blood vessels.
If we replace the lost enzymes, we can reduce and eliminate the amount of scar tissue our bodies have accumulated since birth until now. If a patient asks me, "Will I need to continue using systemic enzymes in the future". The answer is yes, based on two principals;
First Principle - If you stop taking systemic metabolic type enzymes all of the tissues where scar tissue were will return again.
Second Principle - Since your body can not replace that large pool of systemic metabolic type enzymes, how would you expect your body to deal with future inflammation and scar tissues that will occur like on the walls of your arteries or start to have a strangle hold around an organ?
Systemic enzymes must be taken on a empty stomach to be most effective. They must get past the stomach and into the small intestines to be absorbed in the system. During the rebuilding of your enzyme supply and the elimination of fibrotic waste, if you experience any digestive problems like upset stomach gas or belching you can take one of the enzyme capsules, when you eat. Systemic enzymes are perfectly safe and free of dangerous side effects. When patients tell me that when they take the enzymes on an empty stomach, their stomach hurts. All this usually means is they are not drinking enough water per day. Because they do not put enough water into the body everyday, the body creates more acid in the stomach to help digest. This is their problem, "to much acid in the system". So, if you are one of those people, then drink one to two glass's of water with your systemic enzymes and the problem will more times than not correct the situation.
Remember when I told you that vitamins and minerals were co-enzymes in a earlier section? Without systemic enzymes, all your vitamins and minerals from your food will not be absorbed into the system.
If you have ever been to a dry cleaners store you would see a conveyer belt, where the cloths are moving around and around until the operator stops it and removes clothes from a slot in a hook. Now image your enzymes make up the conveyer belt with slots in them for the vitamins and minerals to hook on to and be taken inside the body. If the enzymes are few in the body there is only a few slots for the vitamins and minerals to hold on to. Therefore you won't get all the vitamins and minerals you need, because of no holes to hook on to.
Remember, vitamins and minerals are co-enzymes and without systemic enzymes, you can not get all the vitamins and minerals and they will just flush out of the body.
If you picked an orange from a tree and ate it right then, you would get food enzymes from it. But if you sit it on a counter for just five minutes the level of enzymes (living substances) in that orange would start dying off at a high rate. If you pulled a vegetable from the ground and ate it immediately, you could get food enzymes from the vegetable. By the time most of us get our fruits and vegetables there are still vitamins and minerals present, but not any enzymes worth mention .
Inside all fruit and vegetables grown there is enough food enzymes necessary to digest your foods within your stomach. But, if fruits and vegetables are not eaten within a short period of time after harvesting, they lose a great deal of those food enzymes. So, now you have to rely on your own digestive enzymes to break down those foods, so they can be absorbed into the body. If you eat foods that have been cooked and/or processed, they have no food enzymes within them. Now here is how your health starts to go bad.
You are now starting to use up your reserved metabolic type of systemic enzymes, so they can help digest the foods you eat, instead of repairing your body. When you use up all reservoirs, the only way you can replenish those systemic enzymes is with supplementation of high quality systemic enzymes. Remember, your bodies systemic metabolic type enzymes are working all the time to increase your vitality, maintain health and do the chemical reactions needed within your body. When a person starts to have problems anywhere within the digestive tract, this can be one of the first noticeable signs to some people that the internal reserve systemic enzymes are starting to be depleted severely. Having to use a great deal of your reserve metabolic type of systemic enzymes to create digestion enzymes, only causes you to lose the battle for health and longevity.
I hope I have explained to you how important and precious your systemic enzymes are in achieving a better chance at living longer and healthier in a more childlike system.
